Dutch Mill Bulbs

We ran two separate Dutch Mill Bulbs fundraisers and profited over $700.00!!

Garage Sale May 18-20, 2006

We made a total of $1512.02 in the three days we had our garage sale. Thursday we made over $770, Friday we made over $300, and Saturday we made about $200.

We used the neighbor's garage for the food stand and she sold $121.98 in sloppy joes and desserts. She ran the food counter all three days all by herself!! I also sold cookies and bars in our garage, but I don't know how much I made just on the cookies and bars. It went in my garage money pot.

My mom took care of Bjorn on Thurs. and Fri. while I ran the garage sale. Darin took care of Bjorn on Saturday because Mom went into the emergency room Friday night. She had swollen feet and legs(she's diabetic so there was a huge concern). She still has swollen feet and legs.

We had so much stuff!! Our three car garage was full and we had to use our driveway too. I had to just stack piles of clothes. It didn't look nice but we didn't have room to lay them all out!

Mom, Darin, Glynda(the neighbor), and I are all very exhausted! Bjorn was so patient. I'm looking forward to having a couple of weeks off before we start our next fundraiser(candles, cookbooks, and other girly stuff). I have really missed him and I can tell he needs his mommy. We are having a benefit and silent auction on June 25 so I will have to start on that right away. I do have some Curly Girly Pin orders to fulfil. But that'll be nothing compared to the last two weeks with this garage sale!

Glynda also had to go to the hospital on Sunday night because her back was hurting. She had to have a cortizone shot. She is doing better, but prayer is needed for her and Mom.

Thanks to all of you who donated items and baked goods! Were have been very blessed!
